Elegant little feet

All those stumpy little stems trimmed down to something reasonable, and hollowed out where possible for drying purposes. It’s for forms like this that the giffin grip saves time. Narrow, wobbly, and top-heavy, sticky rim or little bits of a coiled aren’t really enough to support the inverted vessel. Too top heavy. When trimming the top side of the foot though, just sticking it to a damp surface is best, because that way there’s nothing in the way of the tools
