Decided to experiment with making stemmed vessels. I have a long way to go… I was beginning to see a bit of consistency (in the stem and foot at least) by the end of the night, did start experimenting with textures along the way, since these are sort of throwaway things.

They are still all a bit short, but height will come with time I think. I’m not shooting for reidel here, but I do believe I can make something consistently more delicate looking.

Thinking the Shinto glazes would show off the texture well, and have that nice satiny texture I like so much. Definitely have to fire that pitcher I sprayed the glazes on to see if I can get the “fired” look I would love to be able to synthesize.
