Spent a delightful day at the Guild of American Luthiers convention on Saturday. Talked to a bunch of luthiers, learned a bunch, and everyone was pleasantly supportive. Really annoyed I didn’t bring the explorer with me, it would have been nice to hear it played during the Ukulele listening session… next time…

Back in the shop, two of the current set now have their neck joints fitted and are now ready for final shaping and sanding etc. finally felt brave enough to attack the beveling of the SG. A bit of smoothing inside the horns left to do. And then figuring out how to cover those bevels.

Still debating adding binding to the Les Paul…
