Practice session for a larger work, based on the last model session, (first one in well over a year! (For the obvious reasons…)) A composition combining two renditions of the same model in different poses.

I’ve decided to do the next few paintings with a sort of comic book framing device. Given that I’ve read and appreciated so many over the years, I’ve come to realize that is where some of my thoughts and concepts come from.

So why not lean into it a bit?
