A little progress to report. Most of the framing is now in, there are detail areas to work on, the area around the eyes is going to require some detailed work before I can start adding the skin. The top of the head and the back are going to need a bit more structure as well, but nothing so detailed.

The one part I really have to think about is the mounting hardware, some sort of socket for a dowel or something. and. shoulders… the queen has a big shoulder/collar assembly and a crown. That will require a certain amount of reinforcement.

It’s nearly ready for the tape layer. Once I sort out the above mentioned framing I’ll be able to start on the apple and the hands.
